Good sandwiches that are in that middle zone between simple and overly complicated: a few interesting ingredients on good bread.

Cute bakery downtown. They make all the dough in-house. It's very similar to Panera but with better food and service.

So I used to walk by this place for years to go to other restaurants for lunch and one day someone was sitting outside and their meal looked very appealing.
