Service is fast, the ambience is good (interiors, crowd, and music), and it 's relatively cheap. What they need to improve on is their food, which needs to be more special or have more pak factor to make it something you 'll crave. Overall, it 's a nice place that I go back to regularly.
Super student friendly. Bang for the buck. Portions are big and the food tastes great. Would always come here for when I’m craving for some katsu.
Ichiro is quaint and a lax place you can dine casually with your friends. I absolutely enjoyed my katsu and sashimi and I will return to try more from their menu.
Ichiro is one of Taft’s gems. Located at the second level of One Archers’ Place, this Japanese restaurant is truly recommended. Why? Because it’s student-friendly and offers quality food. They offer variety of Japanese food including donkatsu, donburi, soup and noodles such as udon and ramen, among others. They also have appetizers such as takoyaki, sashimi, sushi rolls, and many others. We ordered their bestsellers: takoyaki, beef udon and their cheese roll katsu. The udon tastes okay, their takoyaki’s good and can go at par with authentic ones although it’s kinda sweet. On the other hand, their cheese roll katsu’s something different and must-try. It’s a cheaper alternative to Yabu and others. Best part is most of their meals come with drinks. This place implements pay as your order policy. It’s super budget-friendly too with nothing over P200. We also love the interior of the place and it’s also spacious. The Eatventurers
If you are looking for an affordable place to eat japanese food, this is the place. Their katsu has quite a big serving that will surely fill your tummy.
