It inspired me to try the sesame ponzu sauce for my salad!I don’t have a large appetite, so the bowl was filling for me! I loved it and would love to come here again when in town.Spent about $32 for both bowls, which I was pretty happy with for the quality and serving I got.Rice: Sushi riceProtein: Ahi, Salmom, AvocadoToppings: Edamame, seaweed salad, masago, corn, green onion, noriSauce: Sesame ponzu
I come here multiple times a week after work, but the last couple of times I’ve come they’ve closed earlier than normal. I’m hopeful that they’ll go back to closing at 8:30, otherwise I won’t be able to go here anymore. : This is legitimately one of the best poké places I’ve ever had. They’re my favorite in all the places i’ve tried both in SCV and LA. Their ingredients are always good and fresh, they have a top of topping choices, and I feel like the portions are bigger than other places that charge the same amount, and the owner always welcomes me in and recognizes me. They recently changed their hours, and I wasn’t aware, I’m very sad about it. :
Ordered 2 small bowls and 2 miso soups. The food was great. Rice was a little harder than what I would like, but that could just be preference. Spicy mayo wasn't spicy at all, but other than that, it was delicious.Food: 4/5
Come one people!!!! Sushi shouldn't have fish bones in them. Can't trust this place for kids. Twice we had fish bones in our sushi and not waiting for a third time to give this place a 1 star. California Fish grill has a good poke bowl worth the price I'm paying for. Their bolw portion of this place is mediocre also..
Food was not horrible but not good eather, nothing was spicy and I ordered everything that was supposed to be spicy. I seriously question the way they keep everything cold. Also the miso soup was not horrible but not good.Food: 2/5
