We LOVE this restaurant but we stopped going as there is not a single vegetarian entree on the menu for me to eat. I am tired of being told I can choose a side or salad as my meal. I understand it's a steakhouse but...is ONE vegetarian entree an unreasonable ask?? The rest of my family eats steak but you have lost all of our business because you're unwilling to offer even a slimy low effort risotto.

During a recent visit to Rutland, Vermont, I dined at the Southside Steakhouse and it was simply outstanding. I opted for the prime hanger steak, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. I enjoyed it immensely since it was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. My visit was also highlighted by excellent service. Whenever a question or request arose, the staff was prompt and attentive. Their friendly and helpful attitude added to the overall positive experience. I did, however, find the atmosphere a bit disappointing. I appreciated the cozy ambiance, but it was a bit too dark for my taste. When dining out, I prefer a brighter setting, but this is purely a personal preference and didn't overshadow the great meal and service. The Southside Steakhouse delivered a memorable dining experience with outstanding food and attentive service.
