Feedback geventhe first time to eat here, but it was very recommended. never before had new mexico kitchen, but it was amazing, especially the baked squirrel side dish. they rarely see it on a menu. it was delicious!
I'm with how many stars to judge judge judgeardson? one of our neighbours recommended this restaurant for good new mexico cuisine because it grew up in new mexico. Hubby and I were on Saturday and helped a friend while shopping. here for lunch. the reason why I am torn with the star rating is that Richardson?s is not wheelchair-friendly at all, but eating is fabulous. the parking lot is also questionable. it looks like a park service, but as I have a handicap board, we park in one and only a handicap parking near the beginning. through the entrance there is a terrace and Richardson?s is left. once in there is only one table that is somehow wheelchair-friendly. in a corner to the left. there were already a couple sitting on the table, but they saw us and immediately stood up and gave us the table. there is one step to get to the other tables. the place is small and there is a large bar in the middle. the waiter was great and helped with our selection of means of life as it was our first time. After we ordered food, I wanted to use the toilet room. it was a barrier to me in the wheelchair. the barstools were in the wise, so my hubby began to move them, but there was really nowhere to put them (it was a very narrower away), so a waiter pulled them somewhere, but put them back without waiting for me to go back to my table, so I had to eat them somehow with my feet from the way back to my table. that was delicious. there are terrace seats that probably had more space for a wheelchair, but I don't know safe. I recommend this restaurant because eating is great, but for wheelchair users it is hard to maneuver inside, but maybe the terrace area could work.
After years and years of consideration to try this place, I finally made this decision today. I don't regret coming tonight. this place serves new mexico kitchen aka new mexican flare. it definitely has a flare and the smell of firewood was in the air when we went into the covered courtyard. we loved the fact that they had seats inside and outside. the bar was also on the outside in the courtyard. we were just glad it wasn't hot in the inn. we decided to feed outside. we were immediately approached and they took our drinks orders. it was nice that they served chilled water. When we scanned the menu, we noticed that they had a lot of food. like enchiladas, seafood, steak and pasta dishes. we will definitely return because eating was absolutely delicious?. a little too expensive when it comes to their steak prices. we hadn't expected a big portion, but we were happy to taste their kitchen. there are no freebies here we had to pay $8 for chips and salsa. we ordered carne adowada and relleno platter plus chips and salsa. salsa was definitiw different and to be honest, I didn't care. he enjoyed his enchiladas very much. he liked all seasoned and taste of the enchiladas he had. Happy eating?.
really good food and service. the sitting situation was a little strange. we arrived at 5:15 a.m. and the host said we had to be ready only at 19 a.m. this was the second time they told us this, but they did not ask us to leave a certain time when this time comes. just puts a bad mood out there at the beginning of our visit. I wish they didn't. Apart from that, everything is always excellent. I always order the enchiladas plate with Christmas sauce (red and green) and hmmm friend had the burger. she said it was fabulous.
I love this place. Great, hearty food and good portions too. I always like to take out of town guests here. They have great cocktails and a very cool atmosphere. Would highly recommend this place and stop at Rokerij for a cocktail after if there is availability. One of my favorite places in Phoenix.
