Louie The Shops At Northfield

Large corner restaurant and bar has a Indoor fire pit, lots of TVs, food was good. Had the egg Burger and loaded tots, Seem like it is not usually busy for the few times attending this location. Service was just ok, maybe they were having a bad day. I would try it again.

The place was nice and the food was good. I got the All nighter Burger which was wonderful but from the start the waiter was overwhelmed. It took a while to even get stuff ordered and the waiter helping clearly needed some assistance for the night. The owner or “boss” was sitting in a nearby booth “watching the basketball game”. We had a large group of family members. From what I observed, everyone was respectful and trying to enjoy a night out together. We hung out but it appeared that no one came to help the waiter or see if they needed any nor did they come by to check on the group to see if everything was going okay.

I gave them 1 star because I have to give them something to leave a review. I went to this restaurant with my daughter. Ordered wings for an appetizer.. They came out quickly but were cold.. How can wings be ready that quickly why would they be cold? My 13 year old got the chicken shrimp pasta. She thought it was dry and tasteless. I got a grill cheese sandwich with French Onion Soup. This was literally the WORST grill cheese I have ever seen presented at any restaurant in my life. Their French Onion Soup was warm, not hot they put a glob of chesse that was like a piece of hard plastic dropped into the soup bowl. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any restaurant. I am a chef I know how food should taste, the temperature it should be served at its presentation this restaurant failed miserably in all 3 categories. DO SOMETHING. That was really BAD.

Jasmine was amazing! Great drinks and super friendly

I’m periodically in town for training so my watering hole is always BL. Superstar Jasmine is always so friendly and warm when I come into the bar. She makes 5 star old fashions and never disappoints. The rest of the staff are cool too, but Jasmine exceeds expectations. Pretty chill vibe as well.
