Steak 'n Shake - Machesney Park

The food was delicious I've not had a steak burger with garlic sauce done so well in awhile! The food was hot, however the booth that I sat in was taped up as were multiple others. Unfortunately there's almost no cushion so it wasn't very comfortable. No real complaints though.

Discontinued the cajun burger, everything else is just meh.

Outgoing, friendly service is hard to come by. I feel like a burden to be a customer

Got the Western burger and I don't know what they did to the meat but it tasted more like meatloaf. Not sure I will go back.

I won't ever eat inside this restraunt again.Order kiosks instead of people to take your order. You have to get your own food when it's ready, but somehow the kiosk still asks for a tip when ordering?? A tip for what? I should get a tip for doing the companies job!!What really turned me off about inside is only one drink size available and the soda fountain is locked out unless you scan a stupid QR code thing. Come on, seriously??? Gotta lock down those .25 cent sodas....Thankfully theres other smash burger options nearby(Freddy's) that trust their customers enough to not lockout the soda fountain. And they don't have the balls to ask for a tip in a self service establishment.
