That was more than twenty years ago, and a lot has changed since then. The family behind El Nopal has since moved to Louisville, where the restaurant has become a beloved local spot for Mexican cuisine. Despite their success, the service remains fast and friendly, and the food is just as delicious as ever. Now, I find myself coming to relax and enjoy a meal whenever I want.
Food and drinks good but my server really sucked!! We had to find him so we can order. Then he never came back to check on us after we received our food. We had to find him again to get some napkins and our check. If I go back to this establishment I definitely do not want him and I will ask for another server.. better yet, I will go to the Blankenbaker location. service is much better..
Food and service was great. I did find fruit flies in my drink twice ..So watch out for anything that you drink from them.. But other than that it was cool....
This location gets 2 stars because bf liked the big nachos. However... still white people 's mexican . Seasonings were dearly departed. Service was absolutely HORRIBLE. Not sure why any server would feel like a couple wants to remain sitting at the table for 20 minutes after finishing their meal. Or why they would only provide one drink while walking past multiple times. Guess she needs a new prescription as her glasses didn 't allow her to see our empty cups. Avoid.
Always great food and great service. It was warm enough to eat on the patio so a definite plus!!!
