This is a local favorite for the Cambodians in Long Beach. The food is very fresh and a fair amount for the money. The round bread is baked everyday with other baked breads. I have never left hungry or unhappy. There is always a crowd but the line goes fast.
A super pleasant surprise. This is my first time trying Cambodian food. I got the beef slices meatball noodles dry with soup on the side. I thought the noodles would be plain, but they were stir fried with garlic flavor and quite delicious on its own! Squeezing a lime on top helps balance out the slightly oily, garlicky, slightly sweet savoriness of the dish, so I do recommend using the lime slices the dish comes with. The broth on the side came with like the head of a pork shank with meat on it as well. It was a pretty hearty soup full of collagen that gels up the soup when chilled. Flavor wise it was a little sweet for me though. I preferred the flavor of the dry noodles by itself, so I'm very glad that you could get it separately.
This place is so packed. You can join their waitlist on Yelp to prevent from waiting too long. Their waitlist system is pretty good. It tells where you are at on the waiting list, so you can time your arrival accordingly. However, the place doesn’t offer parking space, so you will need to give yourself 5-10 minutes to find the parking spot. Their dry noodle bowl comes with a bowl of soup with a big pork bone that’s my favorite dish. And I think it’s very fair price as this hard time
My mind just blew out, what an incredible flavors set Up! The rice special…
