Honeywood - Lexington

brunch here was lovely! each person in our group of five ordered another dish and all loved her eating. my eier benedikt with land sink was amazing. we also received attentive service. this is a wonderful place to go for a special occasion.

Appreciated the staff at Honeywood. I felt that they were short staffed when we visited. The service was slow, but they bought our first round of drinks, which was thoughtful. Food was good and nice atmosphere.

First off, the service was outstanding. Our server Mo was kind, courteous and informative. The food was delicious, however don't go hungry. Really small portion sizes. And DEFINITELY order an appetizer because it took 35 minutes for our food to arrive. First time trying quail. It was amazing, but a tiny bird. Especially for $18! You do have the option of ordering two for like an extra $10.

Perfect roasted chicken breast with rice and mushrooms, which I ordered “no butter”. Loads of flavor-super delicious and perfect portion. Lunchtime was nearly empty on a Friday and service oddly apathetic. No offer of refilled iced tea, and a check delivered before asking for dessert or coffee. No delicious breads like they used to have upon arrival. I don’t know what’s going on.

Food was good. My chicken salad sandwich was dry, needed mayo on the toast or more in the salad. I needed my drink refilled because of this, it took our waitress some time to bring my more to drink. I had managed to almost finish my sandwich before she took care of me. It was not at a busy time of the day.
