Stelo At Pierre's - Launceston

Omg from the moment you walked in, you were greeted, made feel welcomed and all the ladies were so lovely. Alyssa, not sure if this is the right spelling but you are the most enjoyable, fun, quirky and professional waitress I have ever come across. Your level of commitment and interaction with your customers is nothing short of superb!!! You can see that you really enjoy what you do and you’re amazing at it!!! Thank you for all our flavoursome meals!!! They are full of flavour and such goodness!!! Thank you, thank you thank you xx

Wasn’t quite sure where to eat, but able to walk in and glad I did. The food was great. I opted for the 4 course with paired wines. Little cauliflower bites to start, and then delicious scollops, with celeriac crips. The pasta with truffle was soft and silky and the lamb rich. Swapped the tiramisu for an affogatto to complete the meal. Definitely go back. Food was lovely and nothing over done. Just good flavours.

April 2022: Stelo near Pierre's is a hidden institution in the heart of Launceston. The interior was relieved by the street and remains up-to-date over the years. Long and narrow, it layout allows you to breathe space. Some employees are a little curt. Most are super friendly. Meals were delicious, but the gnocchi was far from tradition, and were less like the little floury pillows of joy (as they should be) and more large fried chewing pieces of rolled flour. All other dishes were nice.

Everyone told us when we moved to Launceston, how great the food was, as far as it was good, but not quite until the hype. This has changed today. This was the most beautiful meal so far in Launceston. It lived until the hype. Had a really pleasant lunch. Great starters to share, especially the arancini balls. Really interesting pasta dish with sausage and squid. It worked well. Separate children's menu. If it is beautiful, eat the back in the courtyard.

Sitting in this restaurant for my 29th birthday dinner and we loved every minute we spent in this beautiful place. Food was amazing and the place was beautiful. I wish I had taken more photos, but the food looked too deliciously recommended. Thanks for the nice service.
