My disabled boyfriend came by this store today and was greeted by someone who ended up following him around, and while he waited in line for the bathroom, she harassed him. She stood behind him and shouted, ?Do you need any help?? passive aggressively while standing behind my boyfriend, which really scared him. He has trouble hearing due to his disability, and once he shared he was in line for the bathroom, the worker left him alone. She did not ask anyone else in the
Yes it's a bookstore not the public library. If you want to read the book buy it and take it home. If you want to sit around for hours reading books go to the public library, there is plenty of seating.
No help finding books by staff. They also burn the coffee at Starbucks; super unpleasant smell. It was a real turnoff being in the store...bad service bad coffee.
Not a great selection, feel cramped trying to browse with narrow aisles and tables better suited to a larger space. Cafe is nice and I mostly go for a Starbucks treat and quick browse at new titles. Overall, if I want more time browsing and hanging out, I'll go to the store in Newburgh or Poughkeepsie. I find that Newburgh has the friendliest and most helpful staff.
