The restaurant features a spacious and comfortable setting. The stairs leading to the restrooms, as well as the men's restroom itself, could use a bit more space. However, the atmosphere, food, and service were comparable to any other Wetherspoons location. The establishment is conveniently located; we found parking just a five-minute walk away on a nearby street, and it’s close to the museum and shops.
Most people are familiar with Spoon Pub! They always have great beer, a clean and well-maintained environment, and the food is both inexpensive and served quickly. The meals are straightforward and brought to the table, which I’m sure I’m simplifying, but they are tasty and good value for the price. The Thursday Curry Club is fantastic; I really enjoyed my vindaloo there.
The value is the main reason for my assessment. I expected the quality to be quite low, but I was pleasantly surprised. The boneless chicken was just as good as any fast-food competitor like McDonald's. The chips were perfectly cooked, crispy, and tasted great. The curry sauce was excellent, and my pizza was decent. While the dining experience isn't gourmet, the food is well-prepared, warm, and everything came together nicely. Service through the app was efficient and fast. As I mentioned, the real highlight here is the value. I’ve added photos to my review for you to see. For just £11.35, it was a fantastic price, and I really enjoyed my meal here. I would definitely come back again.
