Delicious food, great ambience and excellent customer service. What more could we ask for. Perfect for a weekend get together with friends or family. Would love to visit again
Never too busy for delicious food and exceptional service.<br/ <br/ 7 Origins is a busy but cosy café in the heart of Geelong’s café scene – Pakington Street. On a street that is filled with café spots, I couldn’t believe how busy 7Origins was at 9:30 on a Sunday morning. Almost every table was filled throughout the duration of our visit.<br/ <br/ However, what stood out to me most was how incredible the service was – regardless of how busy they were. It really shows why they are busy… they treat everyone who enters like their favourite regular. Something that isn’t seen too often.. especially when staff are flat chat during the breakfast rush!<br/ <br/ The award winning coffee did not disappoint! I love that they use Milk Lab for their Almond Milk too – big fan! We also ordered a Nutella Hot Chocolate.. which both looked and tasted ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!<br/ <br/ The FitHit’s Tip – Do not visit 7 Origins without trying their incredible Nutella Hot Chocolate. Also, to avoid a wait for a table, try and time your visit around their busiest periods as they get VERY busy!<br/ <br/ For our dishes we ordered:<br/ <br/ Fried Chicken Bao – FAVOURITE DISH<br/ This was most definitely my favourite. For someone who cannot do any spice.. I wanted to push through it because this Bao tasted that good! The sriracha mayo, definitely does a small kick in it though!<br/ <br/ Baked Eggs<br/ Our favourite thing about this dish was the nice touch of olive sourdough.<br/ <br/ Chefs Special <br/ Such a delicious change up on a usual Eggs Benedict. The flavours were such a great combination. <br/ <br/ Overall, we really couldn’t fault this café. The food wasn’t overly fancy but the flavours were just that delicious.. we couldn’t stop complimenting it and making ‘yummy noises’. This is what matters most! If you’re in the Geelong area and looking for a spot to breakfast/lunch or brunch – 7 Origins can not be missed! I am so looking forward to returning here and introducing this to more friends and family.<br/ <br/ Staff – Service was some of the best I’ve seen.<br/ Interior – Cosy and Comforting<br/ Seating – Various options indoor outdoor seating out front.<br/ Food – Flawlessly Delicious<br/ Coffee – Perfect!
We were making our way into Queenscliff but thought we would stop in Geelong to stretch our legs after being in the car for an hour. We stopped at 7 Origins cafe for a coffee fix. My partner and I ordered flat whites and my cousin had a latte. They were superb. The coffee making skills could have been in direct competition with any excellent barista in Melbourne. We also ordered a Vanilla Slice and I was trying to be good so I went for a healthy slice. My cousin commented on the fact that it was the best Vanilla Slice he had in ages. I enjoyed mine also despite it being healthy. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable coffee and dessert, great service and awesome coffee, well done!
2nd time visitor, 1st time reviewer. Great service, napkin quality up to scratch. Water table service , rare these days! Bathrooms on hot water and paper towel dispenser at right height . No running water down elbows! wheelchair friendly. Pumping tunes for a public holiday great vibe. #muntedmondays #krispbacon
