The orange juice tasted terrible. It was sour. I didn’t realize at first that it was spoiled and thought maybe the oranges were just sour. Within two hours i was violently ill and was vomiting every 20 minutes for the next 9 hours until every drop of the juice was out of my system. I have never been so sick in my life and it was awful to have this happen during a flight. My doctor has confirmed the food poisoning came from this place. I hope they read this and remove all orange juice in circulation before more people get sick.
Inside the airport food tends to be on the high side but 7 euros for a turkey bagel seems too much. Not many options to choose from.
My first impression: Service is FRIENDLY efficient. Second impression: that is GOOD Chardonnay they sell and the heated Salmon Bagel is very yummy. NO, it's NOT cheap.... but you're eating at an Airport, DUH! Since all the money goes to some unknown corporate monster, so do remember to thank the employees for their amazingly friendly service by TIPPING them ;
Freshly made bagel sandwiches and iced coffees. Friendly staff and good for a quick bite at the airport.
So first off going to eat and drink coffee any any airport outlet is done primarily out of necessity rather than specifically choosing a place because it has good food or drinks. This is one of those occasions. We were waiting for our flight at Frankfurt airport at concourse Z and this outlet of Coffee Fellows was right by our gate. We were hungry and I needed caffeine so we stopped. They were moderately busy (it was around 8:30 am) but the line moved quickly and the cashier was friendly and (in typical German efficiency) was able to help the next customer while I ran back to my backs to get my money that I forgot to bring with me) and then a co-worker stepped in to complete my transaction. We ordered a couple of breakfast breads (chocolate for my daughter and banana bread for me), a bottle of water and a coffee. It took a little longer than I would have liked to get the coffee but the staff did acknowledge me, asked what I was waiting for, and got it made so no issues there. It is always nice when they take the time to actually look you in the eye and ask what you need. The coffee itself was good and the chocolate and banana bread decent. Not the best I have had in the world but good enough for the airport. Now the prices where a bit high (part of this may be myself not being familiar with European prices anymore and part is almost certainly the airport premium you always seem to end up paying for something (which is the same thing as something you can get outside of the airport, but since you are at the airport it costs more). But they had a nice seating area, we got our hunger and caffeine pangs fixed, and done in time to board our next flight so no complaints.
