Feedback gevenHad our first awful experience with this location yesterday. We've never had an issue with my food allergy (which I notated to the cashier, who ended up being the person preparing my food) until yesterday. First, I observed him slice open my bun with the same knife and on the same cutting board as the other breads. Usually, it's prepared on a separate surface. After calling the guy out about him using the same knife, he asked if I would prefer another bun, to which I replied yes. I then left to wait in the car, because he was clearly not concerned about safety with my food. My husband then observed him use the same gloves to touch my sandwich as were used to touch his sandwich (which was not gluten free) and several other sandwiches. My sandwich was also prepared hot, and I asked for it cold. My husband's sandwich smelled like the meat had sat out too long and had gone bad. The entire meal was thrown in the trash. Service line to call and talk to a manager was disconnected. Will never be back. Allergies are no joke, and this chain, who has a specific allergen protocol, has never let us down until yesterday, but my life is not worth risking, and we'll never be back.Dietary restrictions: Not safe.
I really want to like this place more, but I can’t really give more than 3 stars. The restaurant is always clean and service is also good. The food is just very underwhelming, especially given the cost. The subs are OK, just very small for what you pay for.
They do a great job! The gluten free subs are delicious.
This place is always clean, the food is hot and good for the price point. The main issue is the service. I work down the road so I eat here pretty frequently and in the year I've worked this job I have never received what I ordered. I don't make any major modifications, but will add a drink or an upgrade, and I never get it. I've only complained once, asked for it to be fixed, the person working wasn't in pleasant about it, and it still wasn't right. I would understand if it was busy, but I don't come during rushes, my tickets are printed correctly; it just seems like they can't be bothered to take the time to read tickets.
Used the app to order online. App glitch caused it to default to this location, even though I was over 40 miles away. Called the store to cancel and they refused to refund my money. I have reached out to Firehouse subs and they indicated they have left it in the hands of the owner. That was weeks ago.
