Vino Loco Wine Tapas Bar - Englewood

We have eaten here several times, and we have enjoyed it each time. But there were additional times when we stopped in and didn't find menu items that appealed to us they change their specials weekly, so it's not a sure thing. They are quite willing to modify wherever possible, however, or put together a tasty sandwich with what they have on hand. The owner and chef have been very eager to please, and the servers have been friendly and accommodating. The inside seating is not large, and sometimes on a sunny day you play peek a boo with the sun around the umbrellas at the outside tables.

we ordered this special via grubhub for a celebration on the beach. the order was later pushed to 1h and they called with a mix-up over a menu item that we “not ordered because it does not exist”. (the restaurant must then check with the grubhub). the food came in a box with NO cutlery or serviettes to eat albóndigas with sauce and salat with dressing, although we specifically asked for this dinge (and as someone who previously packed caterings this should be healthy). it was only 6 little tapas, not so hard to follow. we also marked “vegan” on a teller to have taken off the torf cheese. the person who has to be milk-free was said: "Yes, I ordered it milk-free for them," as they ate it and the got stomach pain from the cheese. the Grubhub driver gets 100/10 points for the attempt to clarify with what seemed like a very unorganized and confused restaurant that did not concentrate on its customers. I would call and refund, but in my experience they get a run around whose fault it is when they use a third party app.

great place to go very friendly. our service was amazingly good eating and wein. we will go back with friends. we met the owner with whom she was good to speak .if her search for a night with friends or a romantic night out there this is the place.

this is the place where they want to bring either a group of friends or their special person for a romantic evening. it has a great ambiente, beautiful music playing, and a beautiful decor. the presentation is top notch. all that is said, we were very disappointed by the slow service. we ordered our drinks and suppe that we get very fast. we only ordered 2 appetizers/tapas we waited for 45 minutes! during high season they should have really more employees to accommodate the visitor volume in the opposite. sitting on the bar, we could see that the server had a rough time to maintain with all orders. also a little expensive for what they get. one and done for us.

tasty tapas and great wine. our server kendra was friendly and attentive. we'll go back to englewood next time.
