Masseria Rocca Di Gonato - CASTELBUONO

We were a group of 22 and drove by bus to the restaurant for lunch. Everything that was served was fresh and tasted delicious. We had a chance to visit the kitchen to watch the preparation of the local desert Testa di Turco. They had also prepared nice gluten-free dishes for one of our group members. The drive up along very narrow roads offered beautiful views.

we ate there two evenings and it was great food with good taste. Enough to feed teens the wine is good. If you stay in the hotel there, no need to go to town.

4 of us spent lunch at Masseria_Rocca_di_Gonato and we loved the place for the unique setting and landscape with a great lunch: Fresh goat cheese of the day; and fresh pasta with broad bean and salsiccia. Really looking forward to spend the night and enjoy the farm house staying and their own food. Thanks

We came to the hotel after a quite challenging walk from Pomieri. We were absolutely devastated when there was no beer available to quench our thirst. We got some excellent cool Sicilian wine and some mineral water. But beer would have been better. Rooms were good with a nice bath room. Dinner was good. We had wild Boar for the main course. It was quite charming when the waiter showed us some pictures from the hunt of this particular steak on his smart phone. After dinner there was a very nice place by the fireplace where you could enjoy your grappa in company with oher guests. No real bread for breakfast. will arrive with the chef at noon . Even so I must reccomend this hotel.
