Lizzies Wafels - Bruges

Really cute store and very friendly staff. Had a very short wait to go inside. Never seen such big and freshly made waffles before. A lot of choice for what to have with them, cream, Banana, warm cherries etc. Also serves pancakes and choices of nice warm or cold drinks. Absolutely recommend it!

Lovely place. Came here because of the good recommendations and they were spot on. We got the normal XL waffle with chocolate sauce and caramel. I don’t recommend the caramel though, it wasn’t thick and gooey like you’d imagine. It was more syrupy. Chocolate sauce was amazing though! Staff was kind. Bathroom was clean too.

This was by far the best waffle I had in Bruges. It was huge, could have easily served two people, the strawberries were very fresh and the chocolate sauce was really good. The staff members were delightful, super friendly and made the experience even better.

delicious! so much and yet not enough. we got there 5 minutes before they opened on a wednesday and we’re glad we did because the space isn’t very large and it filled up within 10 minutes of opening. the waffles are light, fluffy and the right amount of sweet. the best combination of toppings was bananas, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. we ordered a milk hot chocolate and dark hot chocolate, both delicious and a fun experience to see it drop and melt and you swirl.

Saw Lizzie's was recommended online and thought we would try as soon as we got to Bruges. Absolutely excellent service and food. Lizzie is a fantastic host.
