The fact that my grandfather came from Benevento Italy back in 1920 I took to be a good omen. And my sister was right. The wine was reasonably priced and pretty good. We had the vodka sauce pizza and a slight adjustment to the meat that is usually part of the pie. It was incredible! We followed up with a pasta Bolognese (homemade rigatoni- delicious! My sister had said to me If you don 't like Benevento 's, I 'll pay for your dinner. I told the waitress that everything was so good, I owed my sister money instead. Thank you, Benevento 's, for a wonderful meal and a lovely time! We look forward to a return visit.
Liked that they literally squeezed me in at the bar to eat. The door guy at the place next door told me to go there since it is owned by the same company. Good suggestion. Was nice that you could see the kitchen in view just like Carrabba's Italian Grille. The bread was tasty and the bar server was attentive.
The gnocchi Quatro is amazing if you need a cheesy fix with style
Basket of delicious bread. An excellent pizza..... garlic/olive oil sauce , cheese and sliced meatballs . Linguine with marinara and freshly grated cheese. Linguine with butter. The only slight on service....the pizza came out a short while before the two entrees.
Delicious pre-game meal in Boston's Little Italy. I had my favorite Chicken Marsala and Sharon had the Chicken Saltimbocca. Huge portions and nicely prepared. A couple of glasses of wine and fresh Italian bread paired well. We were presented with a couple shots of Limoncella on the house. Truly a memorable meal!
