Gabby's Bistro, Bantayan, Dumaguete City

I had the Cajun chicken tenders, I was not a fan of the sauce, not bad but not great. The actual tender was great. Next time I will order plain chicken tenders and request honey mustard for dipping. My fiance had the cheese penne pasta which had ham, mushrooms and onion. Great atmosphere and great service. I hope to try more of their foods.

The best metal we had between Siquijor and Dumaguete. Everything was delicious, mango Shake, grilled Fish, grilled chicken. And it has very good prices! Will recommend this on my vlog

I organised a surprise birthday lunch for my Mum at The Oasis located in Florentina Homes which was catered by their in-house restaurant Gabby's Bistro. The set up in the Oasis Ballroom was perfect for our guests and love how the pool is just outside so the kids could also have a swim for a small fee of P50 each. The ballroom was air-conditioned and the size was perfect for our group of 35 people. It could comfortably fit up to 50 people. The decor has a tropical feel to it thanks to the mural and there was even a sound machine and free wifi to connect your device to and play music. Irish at the bistro was super friendly and very accommodating with my requests in regards to the catering. We chose the mid range buffet package which included a soup, vegetable or salad dish, 3 main dishes, a pasta dish, dessert which we opted for fruit platters and a round of soft drink. We were able to bring our own juices plus we set up a dessert table with no additional charge and we bought beers from the bistro. The food was good and there was so much of it left over that we took it home for dinner! We also added sliders for the kids which were also enjoyed by the adults! We had a great afternoon celebrating my Mum's birthday. The event was very reasonably priced for what's included and we had the venue for 6hrs. Thanks to the team at Gabby's Bistro and Florentina Homes for making my Mum's birthday party a memorable one! Would highly recommend having a small event at The Oasis in Florentina Homes!

Some servers are only nice or welcoming more to foreigners. The difference can clearly be seen with their attitude towards us compared to the foreigners where they smile and have a better tone. They even got our order wrong and I wouldn't have mind if their attitude was okay. It seemed like they're silently blaming us for the mistake and with that attitude along with their type of service, I just lost my appetite. I like some food here but I think I'll just try another branch hoping the service would be better.
